FAQs

What is musculoskeletal physiotherapy?

1

MSK physiotherapy focuses on assessment and treatment of conditions affecting muscles, bones, joints, ligaments and tendons — including back pain, neck pain, sports injuries and arthritis.

Do I need a referral for Physiotherapy in Maylands

2

No referral is required for a private appointment. A GP referral is needed only for Medicare-subsidised (EPC) sessions. Contact us and we can guide you through the process.

How many sessions will I need?

3

This varies by condition and individual. Many patients see major improvement in 4–6 sessions. Kaitlin will discuss realistic expectations and a clear plan at your first appointment.

Do you do Dry Needling?

4

Yes. Kaitlin is certified in dry needling and uses it as part of a broader treatment plan where clinically appropriate. It's always discussed and consented to beforehand.
