Dry Needling
Targeted relief for tight muscles, trigger points and stubborn pain. Dr Annabel is certified in Dry Needling and will often include as part of your personalised treatment plan.
What is dry needling?
Dry needling is a treatment technique where fine, sterile needles are inserted into tight muscles and trigger points to release tension, reduce pain and restore normal movement. It's called "dry" because unlike an injection nothing is injected into the body.
At Maylands Healthcare Hub, dry needling is never used on its own. Annabel uses it as one part of a broader treatment plan, alongside soft tissue therapy, joint manipulation, mobilisation and tailored exercise, so you get relief now and a plan to stop the pain coming back.
